My personal experience
What I discovered
about myself
"Going through this diagnostic has been one of the most valuable things I have done — both as a leader and as a person."
Christopher McCann
When I first received my own Leadership Circle Profile, I saw a picture that was at both recognisable and surprising. The behaviours I was most proud of, my relationships, team collaboration, and my education of others all showed up. But so did the shadows they cast.
I saw clearly how much of my leadership was shaped by a desire to be seen as competent, to fit in the group, to stay in control. Not because I lacked confidence, but because those patterns had been so effective for so long that I had stopped questioning them.
The real growth started when I moved from reacting to creating and when my leadership became less about protecting myself and more about serving those around me. That shift changed not just how I led, but how I worked, how I listened, and how I showed up in all of my relationships.
That experience is why I became certified. I know what it feels like to be genuinely seen by this profile and I want to help others experience that same clarity.
